Kwaanza what the fuck is that? -Chuck Dueces

Kwaanza is an american negro holiday that was intended to unify us under a common bond. It started in the 60's buy this african professor. Black folks started jumpin on the bandwagon since it was black power time and we didnt want to be like these jive turkeys...... Spike lee hates it. Its based on zulu heritage which ....I'm not..... And it uses swahili terms. The word is really kwanza but they added an a to make seven letters like the days of the holiday. It comparable to chanukah. Just more "black" some say.

I just like the base ideas of the days which are the fruits of good harvest. Today is the first and the fruit should be unity aka umoja. Because we do need to unify as a people. They call us black americans tho the majority of us are brown... Either way the segregate us by shade of skin and we segregate ourselves by tones of shade. Hi yellow house niggas. Dark skin jiggaboo niggas. Uncle toms etc tho end of the day everyone else views us the same. So why cant we view ourselves the same?

Its too hard. Were used to pleasing master. So we act exactly how he wants us to act. Ignorant ratchet and self destructive. We try so hard to be like them with permed hair and clothing. Spending rent to by some shoes made by him and in turn give our money right back to him. We want lexus and mercedes. Caddys and acuras. Polo boots and tims. Stacy adams and shit. We wanna be so much like them we lost ourselves and it funny cause they wanna be so much like us....
